The Litchfield Housing Trust has appointed Jill Groody Musselman as the organization’s first executive director. The Trust, after an extensive search, chose Ms. Groody Musselman from among more than thirty candidates. She began her work on June 1.
A graduate of Marymount University, Ms. Groody Musselman has dedicated her career to planning and implementing strategic initiatives in retail and hospital settings. As part of that work she has collaborated with public and private schools, youth groups, and women’s agencies. Her responsibilities have included strategic planning, business development, marketing, advertising design, public relations, communications (television and radio production, web design, social media, digital marketing), event planning, and information technology.
Ms. Groody Musselman’s has served on several community boards, including boards whose focus has been donor engagement and fundraising, primarily in the areas of healthcare, women’s initiatives, children, families, and the arts. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors for Partners in Education, Rotary, Youth Service Bureau, NW Arts Council, as well as local American Cancer Society efforts.
